University degrees, Marriage Certificates, Birth Certificates. Must be stamped by your country's Foreign Ministry & Kuwait Embassy.

Medical Checkup (GAMCA)

Required for work visa. Ensure you are fit (no contagious diseases like TB/Hep B).

Unlock Your Phone

Ensure your mobile is not carrier-locked so you can use a Kuwait SIM immediately.

Bank Notifications

Inform your home bank you are moving so your cards work abroad without freezing.

Salary Certificate / Job Offer

Keep a printed copy in your carry-on for Immigration.

Phase 2

First Week in Kuwait 🇰🇼

Get a SIM Card at Airport

Kiosks (Zain, stc, Ooredoo) are open 24/7. You need your passport. Get a plan with data.

Download Essential Apps

Medical Tests (Local)

Your company PRO will schedule this. Blood test + Chest X-Ray. Mandatory for residency.

Fingerprinting (Biometrics)

Required for Civil ID. Usually in Farwaniya, Ahmadi, or Jahra depending on company address.

Phase 3

Settling In 🏠

Find an Apartment

Check PropertyFinder, expatriates.com. Watch out for 'Haris' (building manager) fees.

Civil ID Collection

The most important card you own. Collect from PACI in South Surra once ready.

Open Bank Account
